Playa de Oyambre
Playa de Oyambre is right on our doorstep, in the middle of the nature park. Thanks to its sheltered location, the waves here are often smaller and perfect for beginners. When the swell is bigger, there are also more challenging waves for advanced surfers.
Playa de Merón
Just 3.5 km away is the 3 km long Playa de Merón. This spot offers consistent waves for all levels. Beginners and advanced surfers will find perfect conditions here, while experienced surfers can take advantage of the steep waves near the harbor wall.
Playa de Gerra
Playa de Gerra is only 1.7 km from the camp and offers powerful waves with plenty of space in the water. Whether fast peaks or long lines, this spot has something to offer every surfer.

Tina, my surf instructor is a mindful, empathetic and magnificent person. She was actually my first teacher who was able to dive deep into mental coaching concerning surf blockages. 1A surf camp and surf course. I can only recommend it! Very competent coaches and a great team at the camp. The theory lessons were also a great complement to the lessons in the water. We stayed at the neighbouring campsite because we couldn’t stay at the camp itself due to our four-legged family member. But everything worked out wonderfully. We would love to come back again. 🙂

The surf camp is beautifully located and offers many activities. The yoga classes on the beach and the massage were great, as was the surf skate course. I was here in mid-July and had an amazing experience. The team was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the accommodation was comfortable. I can recommend both camping and staying in a room. The surf instructors are very knowledgeable and the theory lessons complemented the practical knowledge well. There is always entertainment provided, and if you don’t feel like it, there are many other activities to pursue. The location with two nearby beaches is advantageous. Great surf camp! Highly recommended!
